Satir Monitoring / Surveillance Cameras

CK 350-W

             CK 350-VN

Our monitoring cameras (CCTV) outperform visual cameras in dark scenes and are a great tool for detecting people and objects in 24/7 surveillance, from pitch dark areas to fully sunlit ones. They create images based on the heat that always radiates from any objects, vehicles or people. Our systems are less sensitive to problems with light conditions such as shadows, backlight, darkness etc.

The images that our system provide allows the operators to detect and act on suspicious activity as it happens 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our cameras are also ideal for the installation into abattoirs, the dual purpose camera will give you all the data required by law in the larage area as well as giving you the added benefit of being able to monitor the animals for any signs of stress.

Satir Vehicle Thermal Vision

NV 618S

NV 628

Our range of vehicle thermal imaging cameras significantly reduce the hazards of night time driving. A night vision system enables drivers to detect and monitor potential hazards on or near roads, allowing more time to react. They help in recognising pedestrians, animals and other objects in total darkness, smoke, rain and snow.

Satir Security / Vermin Control

       TVS 384 Scope

       TVS 684 Scope

Our range of cameras for security / vermin control provide the best thermal imaging solutions for vermin control, wildlife observation, stalking and general surveillance around your property.                                                                                                                                                  The UMTI thermal imaging monocular and Orion range of Binoculars can be used in daylight, low light and complete darkness, even in conditions such as fog, rain, snow or obstacles such as bushes, foliage etc even when traditional night vision struggles to provide an image. Designed for hunting and pest control the TVS range of sights are a must have for anyone involved in this industry.

Satir Veterinary Medicine / Thermal Cores

 CK 350-M

Thermal imaging use as a diagnostic tool in veterinary practice has grown in the last ten years. The reason for the growth in using thermal cameras for diagnosing animal health problems is because it is quick, non-contact and non-invasive to the animal. This can be particularly useful when you are dealing with large animals such as cattle or horses as they won’t hear or notice the thermal camera taking thermal images so no further stress is directed onto the animal.                                                                                                                             Thermal cameras are becoming popular particularly with the Horse Racing Equine Industry. Often thousands are spent on preparing horses to race in national races, so making sure your horse is in it’s peak condition is very important for horse owners for them to make a return on their investment. Horses are very expensive animals to buy, if you are choosing a horse to race it is important to carry out a pre-purchase exam and this can be carried out with a thermal camera. A thermal imaging exam of a horse can show up health issues that are not visible to the naked eye. This can include Arthritis, hoof abscesses, soft tissue damage, tendon damage, laminitis and many more. The thermal survey can also measure the horse’s blood flow which can be an indication in how the horse may perform in its next event. Thermal Cameras can be used on a regular basis to assist with making the correct size of horse shoes and to make sure saddles are correctly fitted to the horse which can prevent muscle damage or any sores occurring.

Satir UAV / Drones

640 Drone

A thermal imaging drone/UAV can be used in several different applications. There are three main application sectors that will benefit from the use of a thermal imaging survey carried out by a drone or a UAV.

A thermal imaging drone will give the farmer a birds-eye view of their crops and land. Irrigation management benefits from the use of a thermal imaging as they provide a insight into areas that are pooling water or crop areas that are not getting enough water. These issues can alter the successfulness of the crop production and quality. Thermal imaging drones are also useful for livestock monitoring to check on livestock health, such as if they are injured or missing.

Search & Rescue
A drone can cover much more ground quickly than a team of rescue personnel. This can be the difference of life and death for the lost persons depending on the individual situation. Digital Cameras on drones are very popular and can be used in a search and rescue operations. However, if the person is unconscious or the search is taking place late in the evenings these drones with digital CCD cameras can have great difficulty in searching for the missing person. A thermal camera on a drone in this situation would be more beneficial in finding the missing person/s. A thermal camera is a temperature measurement camera that can detect temperatures from -20°C to +150°C. This means the person/s can be detected even in darkness.

Preventative Maintenance

The second main application of using a thermal imaging drone/uav is for preventative maintenance in areas of building/construction and power/energy. Traditional handheld thermal imaging cameras has been used over the last number of decades in maintenance inspections in building and power lines. However, with more high-rise construction being demanded in cities and the height of pylons it can be very dangerous and costly to carry out maintenance inspections due to hiring out cherrypickers or buying specialist ladders. A UAV/Drone will help to save on costs and save lives as it can be operated remotely from the ground with the team of thermographer and a drone operator.

PLEASE NOTE: Before operating a drone, please make sure you have suffcient training in drone operation and check your country regulations for operating drones/UAVs.
