You can use thermal imaging technology to detect and monitor problems in livestock. Although all of George's research has been with his beef cattle there is no reason it cannot be used on all livestock.

You can use this technology to:

  • check and monitor real time body temperature
  • check for any feet problems with lame animals and treat accordingly
  • check for hip / shoulder problems in older livestock
  • monitor the recovery of sick animals
  • pick up potential cases of mastitis very early
  • pick up a potential virus outbreak very early
